Bau-Ersatz-Bataillon 4
- The battalion was set up on August 26, 1939 in Oschatz, in Military District IV. The battalion was based in the infantry barracks in Oschatz. The battalion was initially subordinate to Division 154. On June 10, 1940, the subordination changed to Division 174. From October 1, 1942, the battalion was subordinate to Division 464. On the same day, the battalion was divided into Construction Replacement Battalion 4 and Construction Replacement Battalion. Training Battalion 4. These two were merged again on April 10, 1943 to form the Construction Replacement and Training Battalion 4. The battalion was then renamed the Construction Pioneer Replacement and Training Battalion 4 on August 19, 1943. On July 17, 1944, the Construction Pioneer Training Battalion 4 was separated again. The replacement battalion in Oschatz is being strengthened again into a construction pioneer replacement and training battalion 4. In April 1945 it mobilized as Construction Pioneer Battalion 4.
